Quilt parade

This quilt I made for Cedric, using the Fat Quarter Shop Jelly Jam Tutorial.  I’ve made this quilt several times, it’s quick, easy and cute.  Makes a great play quilt for babies, or a couch sparing quilt for doggies.

Christmas Quilt

This quilt was made almost exclusively from goodwill fabric and scraps my dad gave me after my mom died in October. I did back it with quilt sized flannel to make it extra cozy.

Using a panel that I got on clearance I decided to make a cheater quilt for my new grand nephew.  Well, once I got started, it turned into my first quilt.  I had so much fun with it that I began quilting.  Again, this quilt cost me virtually nothing, using scraps and store clearance fabrics.  I was lucky to have started this when our local Craft Warehouse was moving and they didn’t want to move a lot of things.

The next quilt I made was a one block wonder.  Had a lot of fun making it, but not sure I’ll ever try that again.  Pictures to follow….

Wedding Quilt

Here are some photos of the quilt I made for Caitlan and Chris. The second quilt I’ve made. The pattern is from the fabric company P & B Textiles.  I came across this at the Craft Warehouse and thought it would be perfect for the kids~their wedding colors were red, black and silver (Coca Cola colors)  You can find the free pattern here.
